'Good players inspire themselves, great players inspire others'

'I attend football club most Friday lunchtimes. Football club welcomes all abilities for people from Year 7 through to Year 9. During football sessions, we start with a warm-up and then practice our passes, throw-ins, free kicks and more. We also learn new skills including one on one tackles. After that, we split into teams and play a match. Recently, there have been football competitions which are played against other schools' teams; advancing our skills in a match situation. When we play football, we make use of resilience, determination and communication skills. Football is a sport where everyone can enjoy and I would definitely recommend going to the club at school!'
